In this project, Killeybrooke kitchen remodel, we transformed this kitchen from drab to fab with the help of Builder Boy. We designed an all-white kitchen and re-used some of the kitchens appliances to add color. We changed out the floors, designed custom kitchen cabinets, added new counter tops and subway tile to give it a retro but modern kitchen feel.

The layout of this kitchen was changed to be more functional and have a better flow with the rest of the house.
Space planning is very important in small spaces because when done correctly it allows the space to feel bigger than it’s actual square footage.
By placing each appliance strategically we were able to give this family a kitchen that allows a fluid movement of open spaces and consequently gives this kitchen an airy feel.
The custom cabinetry was designed to match the style of the rest of the house. It features a shaker style on the cabinet doors which matches the subway tile on the walls but it also makes the designed area feel open and airy.
With custom cabinetry we were able to design areas in which storage was possible without cramping the space like this space rack.
The floors of this kitchen remodel needed to be replace. We install new kitchen floors with Marrazi Montagna Smoky black glazed porcelain floor tile. This change made the white cabinetry pop and have a wow factor when entering the kitchen.
This kitchen remodel is a perfect example of how using exiting appliances can help you save money to invest on other necessary things like the kitchen hood. Before the kitchen remodel there was no kitchen hood, so by not investing in a refrigerator or stove we were able to get a modern kitchen hood.
The Quartz Countertops by Caesarstone complement nicely the color of the cabinets and floor. Their grey color was chosen because it not only complements the rest of the kitchen but because it also brings forth the clean lines of the design.
