Setting up fall home decor as you simmer down from the 90-degree weather into pumpkin spice latte season shouldn’t hurt your wallet, here are the four must haves to make your home cozier for fall on a budget!
Fall Scented Candles
Setting the mood for the fall is as easy as lighting up one of your favorite fall scented candles, while watching your favorite movie and sipping on some hot coco.
Some of our office favorite scents are:
- bourbon pumpkin
- warm cider & cinnamon
- apple chai
- pear honey crisp
- pumpkin pancakes
These are one of the many fall selections that you can pick up during your next Target run for under $20 dollars!
Throw Blankets and Pillows
Switching up your pillows and throw blankets to something more festive including warmer tones and plaid prints can be an easy and inexpensive way to spruce up your home without running up a huge tab. An even more affordable option is to purchase pillow inserts from Amazon and replacing the pillow covers to match the season.
Adding Seasonal Touches
Whether you like real or artificial pumpkins, adding them throughout areas in your home can help bring some exterior elements indoors. If you are really into the fall spirit you can visit your local pumpkin patch for the full holiday experience. If you’re not fully invested in a pumpkin patch then your local Target, Home Goods and even Hobby Lobby will have affordable accessories to help get you in the holiday spirit.
Potpourri or DIY simmer pot
Potpourri is a fan favorite because adding it to a bowl and placing it on your dining table will fill your home with a warm, crisp harvest spice scent. Better yet, try a simmer pot with ingredients you find laying around your kitchen.
Wreaths are also a nice touch you can add to your front door to set up the scene for your new interior fall touches.
Switching up artwork doesn’t have to be expensive, you can simply grab some new (or old) frames and purchase some fun prints from Etsy. You can even find fall prints on Etsy for under $20 dollars, or find some for free on Pinterest!. Adding wall decor can add the perfect warm, fall touch to any wall in your home.
